Similar is the story of Kartik Jivani, who appeared for UPSC three times and got success. Karthik Jeevani achieved his dream of becoming an IAS by securing 94th rank in UPSC exam in 2017, 84th in 2019 and 8th rank in 2020 exam. He worked hard for this.

Karthik Jivani did not give up till he became an IAS. He cleared this tough exam thrice and fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS officer. Karthik, who hails from Surat, Gujarat, completed his 12th class in Science. He appeared for JEE Mains and took admission in IIT Bombay.

While studying engineering, he made up his mind to take the civil service exam and gave the exam but he failed. Then he understood that it would be right to give the exam only after preparing well. Then what was it that he did well in the exam Started preparation. Karthik passed the Civil Services exam for the first time in 2017 with 94th rank. But he was not satisfied with this much. Even after working in the IPS service, he again started preparing for the next examination. In the year 2019, he passed the exam once again with 84th rank.

Karthik studied day and night to fulfill his dream of becoming an IAS. Since his training for the post of IPS was also going on, he came home after taking 15 days leave and studied for 10-10 hours. In the year 2020, Karthik took the exam again, that’s why he passed this exam with 8th rank. In this way his dream of becoming an IAS came true. He became the highest ranked person in Gujarat.

discipline is necessary

According to Karthik, to make a career in civil services, a candidate should know what to read and what not to read. Discipline is very important. He said that first prepare the subject in which the candidate has a strong hold, while gathering information about the rest of the subjects and read it with interest. For the preparation of IAS exam, it is necessary to study for 8 to 10 hours daily.
