Difficulties keep coming and going in life, due to which some people fall apart while some emerge brighter. Today we are telling you the story of an officer who lost his father at a very young age. His mother also lost her job, but that young man did not give up and wrote a new chapter of success. This is the story of IAS S. Prashant, who wrote the story of his success by staying calm just like his name.

IAS officer S. Prashant faced many problems but he did not give up and after overcoming them, he achieved success. Reports suggest that Prashant was the only male member of his family, from whom everyone had high expectations. When he was in 12th class, his father died of cancer. After this, his mother left her job. But Prashant had decided that he had to do something big. IAS S. Prashant received his schooling from DAV Senior Secondary School Gopalapuram. After this, he decided to take the NEET exam and also got admission in a medical college. He has studied MBBS from Madras Medical College. Not only this, he has topped there too. During his medical studies, he received more than 35 medals. Dr. S. Prashant, who was the topper of Madras Medical College, succeeded in the UPSC exam in his very first attempt."text-align: justify;">Got 78th rank in the first attempt  

When he used to work as a doctor, he used to meet 60 to 70 patients every day. But he wanted to become a civil service officer and work to impact the lives of millions of people. After which he started preparing for the UPSC exam and brought pride to his family by securing 78th rank in his first attempt.

Nan Mudhalvan scheme was of help

When asked about the secret behind his success, Prashanth said that the Naan Mudhalvan scheme helped him a lot in preparing for the exam. He would especially like to thank his family and his teachers for their support. It is because of their support that I could reach this position today. I took medical science as my optional subject and my MBBS studies made it easier.
