ICAI CA Foundation and Inter Exams 2024: ICAI has announced the dates of CA Foundation and Inter examination 2024. Note down important dates
According to the information given in the notice, ICAI CA Foundation exam will be conducted on 13, 15, 18 and 24 September 2024. Along with this, Intermediate Course Group One examination will be held on 12, 14 and 17 September 2024. Whereas Group 2 exams of Intermediate examination will be conducted on 19, 21 and 23 September 2024.
Dates will not change
In the notice issued in this regard, it has also been said that ICAI CA examinations will be conducted between 13 to 23 September 2024. Meanwhile, even if there is any public holiday which is declared by the Central, State Government or Local Authority, there will be no change in the exam dates. Exams will be conducted at their scheduled time only.
There will be no paper on this day
Information has also been given in the notice that no examination will be conducted on 16th September because it is Milad-un-Nabi and this day is a gazetted holiday. This date is already fixed, hence no examination will be conducted on this day, however, on the remaining dates, the examination will be conducted at the scheduled time.
What will be the duration of the exam?
Papers three and four of CA Foundation Exam 2024 will be of two hours each. Whereas all other exams will be of three hours. If we talk about timing, it is as follows. Foundation exam paper 1 and 2 will be held from 2 to 5 pm, Paper 3 and 4 from 2 to 4 pm. Whereas all the papers of intermediate exam will be conducted between 2 to 5 pm.
Reading time will not be available for these papers
No reading time will be given in advance for Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination. Whereas for all other papers, advance reading time of 15 minutes will be given. You will get this extra time in which you can read the paper and after that start giving the exam.
