Japan is known throughout the world as a country where the advancement of technology and science is visible everywhere. Everything is good in Japan, which has advanced a lot in terms of resources, but this progress has had a bad effect on many villages here. There is a village in this country where people cannot be found even after searching, but mannequins made of cloth are standing everywhere.
There is one such village – Ichinono. The population of this village is only 60 people and there is only one child here. In such a situation, to maintain the population in this village, mannequins i.e. big life-size dolls made of cloth have been erected at various places. The youth population here has almost vanished, which is why children are not even born.
Mannequins are just mannequins, they don’t look like humans.
According to the report of The Sun, effigies of children are also seen on swings and bicycles in Ichinono village. The 88 year old villager says that there are more effigies in the village than us. Yamazaki said that the elders encouraged their children to study outside. Kyoto is only an hour away from the village, yet when he went out he never returned. They started working at different places and the village became empty. There is only one 2 year old child in the village.
There are many such villages in Japan…
Ichiro, the chairman of the governing body here, says that if this continues then the village will be destroyed. One such village named Nagaro in Japan has come into global headlines, where the shortage of humans was first filled with mannequins. A woman named Tsunami Ayo living here had installed such effigies everywhere in the village, so that people do not feel lonely. These are called scarecrows and people come to see them for tourism.
