However, this is not the first case. Even before this, stones have been thrown at trains many times in the country. Many people also get injured due to these stone pelting on trains. Under which section action is taken

If a person throws stones at a moving train or tries to damage it in any way, then strict action is taken against him under section 153 of the Railway Act. If action is taken against someone under this section, then there is a provision of punishment up to 5 years if found guilty.

Especially in places like Kazipet, Khammam, Bhongir and Eluru-Rajahmundry, incidents of stone pelting were more. South Central Railway took these cases seriously and identified and arrested 39 people. According to the report of India Today, after the arrest of the accused, the Railway Protection Force i.e. RPF said that children up to 17 years of age were also included among the people arrested for stone pelting.
