Chhatarpur: Preparations to celebrate the New Year are in full swing. Celebrations will start from the night of 31st December itself, which will continue till the New Year. SP Agam Jain said that police teams have been deployed on patrol across the district to stop liquor parties on New Year and to save people’s lives from accidents. From the night of December till the next day, the police will remain alert and will investigate at many places. Liquor will be tested with brief analyzer. Police forces will be deployed at various tourist centers in the district to prevent accidents, congestion and traffic management.

People from all over the country and abroad come to celebrate the New Year at places like Bhim Kund, Dhubela, Khajuraho and Mausania in Chhatarpur. Police have already been deployed at these places, so that no accidents happen.

According to SP Agam Jain, police arrangements have been made at the tourist places of Chhatarpur. Additionally, additional police force has been deployed. Police station teams have held meetings with hotel, dhaba and DJ operators. Along with this, special instructions have also been given.
