Bhopal: Haji Lassi is a 100-year-old famous lassi and falooda shop located in old Bhopal. Salman Khan and his family also come to drink lassi from this shop which has been running for six generations. This famous shop is located in Itwara market. There is a crowd of people to taste the lassi and falooda here. Another unique thing about this shop is that this shop remains open only for 6 months. The shop is opened in summer and closed in winter. This lassi of Bhopal is so famous and excellent that thousands of people come here to eat lassi and falooda every day.

Haji Lassi’s owner Syed Mahfooz told that many politicians and actors have also tasted lassi and falooda here. Whoever comes to Bhopal in summer from the country and abroad definitely drinks lassi here. Many governors, nawabs, leaders and actors have tasted this lassi. Here lassi is available for 50 rupees a glass and falooda for 80 rupees a glass. The shop is open from 10 am to 11 pm. Former PM Rajiv Gandhi has also drunk lassi here.

Lassi and Falooda are prepared by ourselves
The shop owner said that people like the taste of this lassi very much. Lassi is prepared using the same method from the beginning. Lassi is prepared using the art inherited from grandfathers. Everything used in making lassi and falooda is prepared by ourselves. Which doubles its taste. It has been running since the time of the Nawabs. The shop is very much liked for its lassi. Its taste is still number one in Bhopal.

After the wedding the bride comes to drink lassi
According to the hotel owner, every woman who gets married in Bhopal is served lassi from here. After marriage, the bride comes to the hotel, drinks lassi from here and then goes to her in-laws’ house. This tradition has been going on for years. Syed Mahfooz also told Local 18 that the girls who used to come here earlier to drink lassi holding their parents’ fingers, now bring their children here too.
