Beetroot Halwa Recipe: It is not hidden from anyone how beneficial beetroot is for health. But some people do not like to eat it raw. In such a situation, you can prepare its pudding, which is made with beetroot and carrot. If you want, you can also prepare it as a dessert on any special occasion.

Ingredients for Beetroot Halwa

300 grams peeled carrots
300 grams Peeled Beetroot
125 grams Mawa
125 grams Sugar
25 grams Desi Ghee
15 Cashews
1 Cardamom Powder
10 Raisins
7 Almond pieces
50 ml milk

How to make beetroot halwa

1. Heat 2 spoons of ghee in a wide pan.

2. Add beetroot and carrot in the pan and fry for a few minutes.

3. Add milk and cook on low to medium flame for about 15 minutes until the vegetables are completely cooked and become soft.

4. When the vegetables are cooked, add sugar and mawa in the pan.

5. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.

6. In a separate pan, fry the mixed nuts in ghee until golden.

7. Add remaining ghee, cardamom pods and seeds, as well as roasted nuts to the main mixture.

8. Mix all the ingredients well.

9. Serve the dish while it is hot and enjoy.
