Bottle gourd grated – 1
Gram flour – 4 tbsp
Curd – 2 tbsp
Semolina – 2 tbsp
Green chili chopped – 2
Green coriander chopped – 1 tbsp

How to make Lauki Ka Chilla
To make gourd cheela full of taste and nutrition, first peel the gourd and then grate it with the help of a grater. After this, squeeze the grated bottle gourd by pressing it with hands and take out the excess water, after that keep the grated bottle gourd separately in a vessel. Now take a big bowl and add semolina and gram flour and mix it well. Now add grated and squeezed bottle gourd to it and mix.
Now mix curd, green chillies, green coriander and salt as per taste in this mixture. Now keep adding water little by little and prepare the batter for the cheela. After making the batter, cover it and keep it aside for some time.

Now take a nonstick pan/tawa and heat it. Pour some oil on the pan and spread it. When the griddle gets hot, take a bowl of cheela batter and pour it in the center of the griddle and make cheela by making circular motions from the back side of the bowl. Now let the cheela cook. Put some oil on the edges of the cheela and after roasting for some time, flip the cheela. Now apply oil on the upper part of the cheela. Roast the cheela until it turns golden brown. After this take it off in a plate. Similarly prepare all the gourd cheelas. Now serve bottle gourd chillies with chutney or tomato sauce.
