Be it a child, an adult or an old person, everyone will like this dish very much. The name of this tasty recipe is Makki Ka Halwa. The mouth starts watering as soon as one hears the name of halwa. You must have never eaten maize halwa, let us tell you today how to make tasty maize halwa which is ready in no time.


Ingredients and Recipe for Corn Halwa

To make tasty maize pudding, 2 cups of sweet corn kernels are required. After this, 2 cups of milk, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup ghee, 1/4 cup cashews and almonds, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder, 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds and chironji, 1 pinch of saffron are required.

First of all, grind the sweet corn kernels coarsely. Then chop the cashews and almonds finely. Later, heat ghee in a pan and add the ground corn kernels and fry till golden brown. Now add milk and cook it on low flame till the milk dissolves completely in the corn. Later add sugar to it and cook till the sugar dissolves and the halwa thickens. After cooking, add cashews, almonds, saffron and cardamom powder and mix the halwa well and cook till it starts releasing ghee. In this way, tasty corn halwa will be ready.
