Ingredients to make Banana Kheer
Ripe Banana – 1 to 2
sliced bananas
Milk – 3 cups
Saffron – 2 strands
jaggery as per taste
Cardamom powder – half teaspoon
Raisins – 8-10 grains
Almonds, cashews – finely chopped
Banana Kheer Recipe
First of all put milk in a vessel and let it boil. Boil the milk on medium heat till it thickens. Smash the ripe bananas well. Now put all the chopped tri-fruits, raisins in milk, then boil for a minute. Now add saffron, cardamom powder, jaggery to the milk and reduce the flame. Saffron will leave its color in no time. Now put mashed banana in a bowl. Pour boiled milk in it. Mix it well. Garnish by adding some pieces of chopped banana, pistachios, cashews, almonds, saffron on top. Very tasty and healthy Banana Kheer is ready. You can serve it to everyone in breakfast or after dinner as a sweet dish.
