Monsoon Breakfast Recipes-
- Veg Parantha
Material:
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Paneer (grated) – 1 cup
Green chillies (finely chopped) – 2
Coriander leaves (finely chopped) – 2 tablespoons
Salt – as per taste
Oil or Ghee – for frying the parathas
Method:
First of all, add some salt and water to the wheat flour and knead a soft dough. Now prepare the stuffing by mixing paneer, green chillies, green coriander and salt. Make dough balls, fill paneer stuffing in it and roll the paratha. Add oil or ghee on a hot pan and fry the paratha. Now serve it hot with curd or pickle.
- Moong Dal Cheela
Material:
Moong dal (soaked) – 1 cup
Ginger (small piece)
Green chillies – 2
Salt – as per taste
Coriander leaves (finely chopped) – 2 tablespoons
Oil – for frying the chilla
Method:
First of all, grind moong dal finely with ginger and green chillies. Add salt and green coriander to the paste. Put some oil on a hot pan and spread the chilla. Fry it on both sides till it becomes golden and crispy.
Now serve it hot with chutney or curd.

- Masala Upma
Material:
Semolina (rava) – 1 cup
Water – 2 cups
Carrot, peas, capsicum (finely chopped) – 1 cup
Onion (finely chopped) – 1
Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves – 8-10
Green chillies – 2
Salt – as per taste
Oil- 2 tbsp
Method:
First, dry roast the semolina and keep it aside. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chillies. Add onion and fry till light brown, then add vegetables and cook for a few minutes. Add water and salt and boil, then add semolina and keep stirring continuously. When the semolina is cooked, turn off the gas and add lemon juice and green coriander. Serve hot upma. By trying these recipes, you can enjoy the monsoon season to the fullest.
