IIM Calcutta, one of the premier management institutes in India, has significantly improved its placement performance in recent years. The placement figures for 2023 and 2024 are proof that the institute has not only provided higher salary packages but has also increased the average and middle salary packages.
Recently, in a statement issued by the institute, it has been said that this time also IIIK Calcutta has set a new record in placements. The institute has achieved 100 percent summer placements for the 61st batch of its flagship MBA programme. In this, 475 students have received 564 offers from 175 companies. In 2023, IIM Calcutta had 465 students receive job offers from 190 companies. 39 new companies were included in this, which reflects the industry collaboration of the institute. The highest international CTC this year was Rs 1.15 crore, while the average CTC was Rs 35.07 lakh per year. Whereas, for 2024, IIM Calcutta has again maintained 100% placement rate. This time 475 students have received 564 offers from 175 companies.
The average monthly package for placement students was Rs 1.89 lakh and the medium package was Rs 2 lakh per month. The highest monthly salary package offer of Rs 3.67 lakh was received from domestic companies, whereas the highest monthly salary package offer of Rs 6.75 lakh was received by international companies to the students of IIM Calcutta.
