IIRF Ranking 2024: The Indian Institutional Ranking Framework has released the ranking of the top central universities of the country. Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has got the first position, while Delhi University (DU) is in second place. This framework provides a framework to rank the educational institutions of the country. This ranking is based on 7 performance indicators.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has also secured top rank in this list. Top deemed universities include Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) and Homi Bhabha National Institute. Top private universities include Ashoka University, Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT) and Shiv Nadar University. Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has got top marks especially in placement performance and teaching learning resources and pedagogy.
More than a thousand institutions across the country are evaluated through this ranking. These include more than 300 universities, 350 engineering colleges, more than 150 business schools, 50 law colleges, 50 design schools, 50 architecture colleges and more than 100 undergraduate colleges that offer BBA and BCA programs. The Indian Institute Ranking Framework (IIRF) is a non-governmental organization that evaluates educational institutions across the country.
