IN Himachal Owners Will Be Able To Open Restaurants, Dhabas For 24 Hours Till 2 January


Himachal Tourism: For the tourists, this time the New Year celebration in Himachal will not fade away, tourists will be able to enjoy food and drink even at midnight. The Himachal Pradesh Government has decided to open all the restaurants, dhabas, eateries and tea shops in the state round the clock till February 2. Although it will depend on the shop owners till what time they will open their shop, there will be no compulsion on them to keep the shop open for 24 hours. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) gave this information.

Government can continue this system forever
CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has taken this decision on the request and suggestion of Shimla MLA Harish Janarth, Manali MLA Bhubaneswar Gaur and Kasauli MLA Vinod Sultanpuri. CM Sukhu said that the government has taken this decision keeping in mind the convenience of tourists in the ongoing tourist season. He said that the government may consider continuing this system, provided the owners of these establishments maintain proper law and order.
