He shot him as soon as he came in front of him.
This blasphemy accused was arrested by the police earlier this week. It is being told that the mob was trying to beat the man to death on the charges of blasphemy, but the police reached the spot and saved him. Initially the police took the accused to Kharotabad police station, after which he was shifted to Quetta. This case is from Balochistan province of Pakistan.
The mob wanted to kill the accused of blasphemy
Senior Superintendent of Police Quetta Mohammad Baloch said that the police officer who shot the blasphemy accused in jail has been arrested and an investigation has been started. It is being told that this blasphemy accused was taken into custody by the police from Western Bypass area. During that time, Tehreek-e-Labbaik and other fundamentalist party workers had protested against the blasphemy accused and tried to block the way of the police by burning tyres on the road. Rallies were also taken out in many areas against this blasphemy accused.
Protesters threw hand grenades at the police station
It is being told that the fundamentalists were hell-bent on killing this blasphemy accused. The protesters had also thrown hand grenades at Kharotabad police station, but it exploded outside. The accused was taken from Kharotabad to Quetta for more security, but his life could not be saved there too. The ASP said that the blasphemy accused used abusive language against Prophet Mohammad, many of his call recordings were viral on social media, due to which people were angry.
