IND Vs AUS Ahmedabad Test Ishan Kisan May Debut In Place Of KS Bharat In 4th Test Match Against Australia

India vs Australia 2023: The fourth match of the India-Australia Test series is going to start in Ahmedabad from 9 March. In this match, the Indian cricket team can make a big change in its playing eleven. The Indian team has missed one player the most in this entire Test series and his name is Rishabh Pant. Pant used to turn the tide of the match by coming in the middle order with his aggressive batting. Now the Indian team is expecting the same from Ishan Kishan.

Ishaan Kishan is present with the current Indian squad, but so far he has not got a chance to play a single match. In the fourth Test match, captain Rohit Sharma can give Ishaan Kishan a chance to make his Test debut in place of KS Bharat. KS Bharath was given a chance to play in the first three Test matches, but he could not do anything amazing with the bat and his performance was not good even in terms of wicketkeeping.

The batting of the Indian team has struggled to score runs in the entire series. In such a situation, the captain of Team India can include Ishaan Kishan in the playing eleven in place of KS Bharat in the fourth and last Test match. There can be mainly two reasons for this.

Two reasons for including Ishaan in the team

The first reason would be that Ishaan Kishan is a left-handed batsman. There is no left-handed batsman in the top-5 of the current playing XI of the Indian team and hence Ravindra Jadeja had to be sent to bat at number five. If Ishaan Kishan comes at number five as a left-handed batsman, then Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon can be troubled a bit.

Another reason for making Ishaan Kishan a part of the playing eleven could be his aggressive batting. Ishaan Kishan recently scored a double century in ODIs while batting very aggressively. Apart from this, everyone knows his fast batting in T20 format as well. Therefore, he can come at number five and play the responsibility of counter-attacking just like Rishabh Pant.

If we look at this India-Australia series, India is ahead 2-1 in the series after winning the first two Test matches. India had to face defeat in the third test match. Now if India has to capture the series and reach the final of the World Test Championship, then Australia will have to be defeated in the Ahmedabad Test.
