Abhishek Sharma was out after scoring just 4 runs, but after that there was a historic partnership of 173 runs between Samson and Suryakumar Yadav. Samson scored 111 runs, on the other hand Suryakumar played an inning of 75 runs. After that Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag scored 47 runs and 34 runs respectively in explosive fashion. Tanzim Hasan Saqib took the most wickets for Bangladesh, who took a total of 3 wickets.

Whereas Sanju Samson has now become the player to score the second fastest century in T20 matches for India. He completed his century in 40 balls. Till now, the Indian record for scoring the fastest century in T20 is in the name of Rohit Sharma, who scored a century in 35 balls against Sri Lanka in 2017.
