India Most wanted terrorist Escaped after breaking Pakistani Jail in Pok many officers dismissed alert issued


: PoK jail All jails in Pakistan have been put on high alert as India’s most wanted terrorist has escaped from a Pakistani jail. He was lodged in a jail in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK). This incident happened on Tuesday, in which 18 more prisoners also escaped. It was told that the prisoners overpowered the guards at gunpoint and escaped by breaking the main gate. This incident happened at 2.30 pm on Tuesday in Rawalkot jail of Poonch.

The police officer said that out of the 18 prisoners who escaped, 6 were on death row and the other three were serving life sentences. The officer said that another prisoner was shot dead during the escape. He was serving a sentence of five years. The deceased has been identified as Khayyam Saeed. Saeed was serving a sentence of 5 years. Among those who escaped, 6 prisoners who were sentenced to death are Saqib Majeed, Usman Iqrar, Shamir Azam, Amir Abdullah, Faisal Hameed and Nazir Yasin.

The officials were dismissed
According to Samaa TV, after this incident, 7 officials including the Deputy Superintendent of Rawalkot Jail have been detained and an investigation has been started into the security breach. Also, the jail chief and other officials have been sacked. The report said that some officials have been detained for questioning. All the jails in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir have been put on high alert regarding the security lapse.

India’s most wanted also fled
The report said that Ghazi Shahzad was among the other prisoners who escaped. Sources said that Ghazi Shahzad is a member of a banned organization and is India’s most wanted. It is believed that he is the mastermind behind the jailbreak. Police teams are investigating from all angles. Local police chief Riyaz Mughal said that the reason behind the jailbreak is being investigated. Also, some jail officials have been dismissed. High-risk prisoners have been removed from the jail and shifted to another place.
