India on Gaza: The Israeli army is continuously taking action against the extremist organization Hamas in Gaza. Since October last year, Hamas bases in the Gaza Strip are being destroyed by the Israeli army. However, common people are also losing their lives in this war. India has strongly condemned this ongoing conflict in the Middle East. India says that the humanitarian crisis arising in this region due to conflict is completely unacceptable.
In fact, in the emergency special session called on Palestine in the United Nations General Assembly, India’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ruchira Kamboj said, “The conflict has been going on in Gaza for more than seven months. The humanitarian crisis created by this is increasing. Due to this, there is a possibility of increasing instability in the region and beyond. We see Resolution 2728 adopted through UNSC as a positive step on this subject.
Everyone should respect international laws: India
According to news agency ANI, Ruchira Kamboj said at the UN, “Our leadership has made India’s position clear on the conflict more than once. The first of these is that due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, But the loss of civilian lives, especially those of women, is unacceptable. We must respect international and humanitarian laws.
Condemn the attack on Israel, hostages should be released: India
India’s permanent representative to the UN also talked about the terrorist attack on Israel on October 7. He said, “The terrorist attacks in Israel on October 7 were shocking. We condemn them unequivocally. There can be no justification for terrorism and hostage-taking.” He further said, “India has a long-term and uncompromising stance against terrorism in all its forms. We demand the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages.”
