Indian Air Force & Army Joint Operation: The Indian Air Force and the Indian Army have carried out a joint operation where both the forces together have carried out the first-of-its-kind precision para-drop operation of Arogya Maitri HealthCube at an altitude of around 15,000 feet. These Critical Trauma Care Cubes have been indigenously developed under Project BHISHMA (India Health Initiative for Cooperation and Maitri).

During this, the Indian Air Force has used its advanced strategic transport aircraft C-130J Super Hercules to airlift and para-drop the cube.

The Indian Army and Air Force achieved a major milestone in a joint operation. The Indian Army successfully air-dropped the Arogya Maitri Health Cube at an altitude of 15,000 feet. The Arogya Maitri Health Cube has been developed indigenously under the Bharat Health Initiative for Sahyog Hit and Maitri Yojana.

However, in this crucial task, the Indian Army’s Para Brigade, known for its operational prowess and agility, played a key role in the successful deployment of the Trauma Care Cube using its advanced precision drop equipment. This demonstration has underlined the capability of such specialised military assets to effectively support HADR operations even in the most remote and mountainous regions.

These are helpful in case of injuries in firing, burns, surgery, fractures. More than 200 patients can be treated with this cube. These cubes are lightweight and portable.
