Special Trains For Maha Kumbh 2025: Indian Railways, especially North Central Railways, has completed its preparations for the successful organization of Mahakumbh 2025. During this event, Railways aims to provide smooth, safe and efficient travel facilities to lakhs of devotees, so that they can easily reach their destination and be a part of this historical and spiritual event. In view of this, North Central Railway will operate more than 13,000 trains during Mahakumbh.
More than 10,000 regular trains will be at the service of passengers in these trains. Apart from this, more than 3,000 special trains will be run. The special trains will have 2,000 outward carriages (which will be operated on the way out of the event), while there will be 800 inward carriages (for the return journey). Keeping in mind the convenience of the pilgrims during Mahakumbh, Ring Rail MEMU service will be started.
Number of trains increased for Mahakumbh of 2025 compared to 2013
This service will make travel to major religious places like Ayodhya, Kashi and Chitrakoot simple and easy. Pilgrims will get a hassle-free hassle-free travel experience through this service. In Mahakumbh 2013, Indian Railways operated a total of 1,122 special trains. Whereas, the number of special trains has been increased significantly for Mahakumbh 2025, this will provide better facilities to the passengers.
Estimate of 10 crore people coming by train
To control the crowd and ease the travel of passengers during the Maha Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj next year, 23 pairs (total 46 trains) will be given additional stoppage at Prayagraj and Naini Junction. This initiative will make the journey of pilgrims convenient and comfortable. At the same time, about 10 crore people are expected to come by train for Mahakumbh. Railways is making all arrangements for security and order regarding this.
FR cameras installed at railway stations, know its features
For the first time, FR cameras are being installed along with CCTV cameras for security at railway stations during Mahakumbh by Prayagraj Railway Board. FR cameras are effective in keeping an eye on suspicious activities and lawless elements with the help of AI. FR cameras work with AI technology. With the help of face recognition or AI technology, we are able to identify faces.
They can easily identify and locate suspects even in the crowd, so that suspicious activities or stampede-like situations in the crowd can be controlled before they occur. FR cameras can easily catch any unusual incidents, by reacting to them immediately, accidents can be prevented.
