Prasidh Krishna Ruled Out from World Cup 2023: Before the ODI World Cup 2023, bad news has come to the fore for the Indian team. The star fast bowler of the team, the famous Krishna has been ruled out of the World Cup. Krishna is battling with his stress fracture. Krishna is away from cricket for the last about 6 months. He played his last international match for Team India in August 2022 against Zimbabwe in Harare.

No date fixed for return

Krishna is currently present in the National Cricket Academy. There is about a month left for IPL 2023 to start and till now he has not started bowling again. Speaking to news agency PTI, a BCCI source on condition of anonymity said, “Prishit has a stress fracture and in the case of this particular form of injury, you cannot give a possible return date.”

The source further added, “Every player has a different body type and the recovery process and time will be different. It can be anything between six months to a year. In the case of Famous, he is still not fully fit to play and it is unfortunate that he has been ruled out of the entire domestic season as well. Krishna plays for Karnataka in the Ranji Trophy. Whereas in IPL, he is seen playing on behalf of Rajasthan Royals. Now it has to be seen when he can return to cricket.

Good international career so far

Krishna has played a total of 14 ODIs in his international career so far. He made his international debut on March 23, 2021 against England in Pune. While bowling in 14 ODI innings, he has so far taken a total of 25 wickets at an average of 23.29. During this, his economy rate has been 5.32, which was good.
