This shop, named Suresh’s Namkeen, is about 70 years old, located at the Malwa Mill Square in Indore. Here, not only the residents of the city, but also the people coming from outside also get the Kachori parceled and taken away. The crowd starts gathering at Suresh Seth’s shop from seven in the morning itself.
The owner of the shop, Suresh Jain, says that his father Ramchandra Jain started selling asafetida kachoris. Then there used to be a shop on the handcart and a kachori was sold for 20 paise. With the passage of time, he made a shop. Now one asafoetida kachori is available here for Rs.25. 17 types of spices are mixed with asafoetida in this Kachori, due to which its taste has gone on the tongue of the people. The process of making Kachori goes on everyday from seven in the morning till nine in the night. Thousands of Kachoris are sold everyday. The taste of their Kachori is the same today as it was years ago. Along with old customers, new customers also come here to taste Suresh Seth’s Kachori.
