In fact, a new case of fraud has come to the fore where a Delhi woman lost her hard-earned Rs 8.5 lakh while using Instagram.

What is the matter?

According to a Times of India report, a woman from Delhi saw a job advertisement on Instagram. By clicking on it, the woman lost more than Rs 8.5 lakh. The matter was reported in December. The woman was scrolling on Instagram when she saw a job advertisement, when the woman clicked on it, the link was redirected to another page where a page called Airline Jobs All India opened and she was asked to fill in the details. As soon as the woman filled the form, she got a call from an unknown person named Rahul and was asked to pay Rs 750 as registration fee. After this, the scammer further trapped the woman and deposited more than Rs 8.5 lakh in her account as gate pass fee insurance. The scammer cleverly tricked the woman into talking and got such a huge amount deposited in her account on the pretext of a job. The scammer did not stop at this and started demanding more money from the woman, but as soon as the woman suspected the scammer and felt that she had become a victim of the scam, she immediately lodged a report with the police station.

Well now the good thing is that the Delhi Police has arrested the accused. According to the Delhi Police, most of the transactions were done from Hisar in Haryana. The mobile phone of the accused was being located around Hisar. The police spread the screws in a planned way and caught the accused. During interrogation, the accused told the police that after Kovid-19, he started this kind of elusive game and tried to cheat many people.
