However, now it is about to change as Instagram is soon going to bring a new feature for its users. Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg announced in a post on Instagram that the company has started testing a new feature. Which will allow all Instagram users to share a song in a note on the platform. As far as availability is concerned, Zuckerberg said that Instagram is testing these features in some countries. However, he has not given the names of those countries.

Notes visible for 24 hours

This means that if you want to let your squad know about a song you’ve been listening to on loop for the past few days, you can share it as a note. Let us tell you that Instagram introduced Notes on its platform last year. Notes are short posts of up to 60 characters using only text and emojis. Users can write notes by going to the top of their inbox. Along with this, users can also select the people with whom they want to share the note. Notes appear at the top of users’ inboxes and stay there for 24 hours. Replies to notes come in the form of DMs.
