iPhone 16 Pro Models Assembling in India: There are reports about the latest series of iPhone that Apple may start assembling the Pro models of iPhone 16 in India this year. It is being speculated in the reports that its price will be low after its launch in the country.
In fact, whenever a new iPhone model is launched in India, Indians have to spend the most money for it. This is why people order iPhones from America or Dubai because phones are available at cheaper rates in these places.
Many Apple phones are already being manufactured in India. If the reports turn out to be true, then the 16 Pro models will also be assembled in India. At present, no official statement has been made regarding this.
Will 16 Pro Max and 16 Pro be available at a lower price?
Now the question coming in people’s mind is what will be the effect on the prices of 16 Pro Max and 16 Pro after assembling them? If we talk about earlier, even after the iPhone 15 series and 14 series were made in India, there was not much effect on their prices in the country. So in view of this, there is little possibility of the prices of 16 Pro Max and 16 Pro coming down in India.
Why do we have to pay more money?
The price of Apple’s latest Pro model in India is 20 thousand to 40 thousand rupees more than in the US. The Indian government currently levies 18% GST on mobile phones. According to this, people have to pay 18% more tax.
Even in the 2024 budget, the Finance Minister has not made any change in it. But the Basic Custom Duty has been reduced from 20% to 15%. Only after this, Apple has also reduced the prices of its phones.
