To achieve the target of 227 runs for victory, the Bangalore team could only manage to score 218 runs for 8 wickets. Mathisha Pathirana played an important role in helping CSK win the match. In such a situation, Prabhudesai tried to hit Pathirana’s last ball for a six but did not succeed. His catch was caught by Ravindra Jadeja.
