Indian Premier League 2023: The 25th league match of the 16th season of IPL was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Mumbai Indians (MI). Chasing 193 runs in this match, the Hyderabad team needed only 24 runs in the last 2 overs to win, but the team was reduced to 178 runs in 19.5 overs and had to face defeat by 14 runs. This is the third defeat of the Sunrisers Hyderabad team this season. At the same time, Mumbai Indians registered their third consecutive win while maintaining their winning streak.
After facing a close defeat in this match, Sunrisers Hyderabad team captain Aiden Markram said in his statement that we did not play well at all today. Mayank and Klaasen showed their prowess in batting from Hyderabad
Chasing a score of 193 runs in this match, the Hyderabad team had lost the wickets of Harry Brook and Rahul Tripathi till the score of 25. After this, Mayank Agarwal, handling the team’s innings from one end, made an important partnership first with Aiden Markram and then with Heinrich Klaasen and tried to take the team towards victory. Agarwal scored 48 while Klaasen scored 36 runs in this match. With the return of these two to the pavilion, the team had to face defeat due to the quick loss of wickets in the last over.
