Tanu Sri was married in 2015, but he never left his dreams behind. Tanu Sri was born on 24 April 1987 in Motihari, Bihar. He completed his schooling from Dav Public School, Bokaro. His father has been DIG in CRPF, due to which he got discipline and inspiration for the service of the country since childhood. He graduated in History (Honors) from Miranda House College, Delhi University and started preparing for competitive examinations from then.
First became Assistant Commandant, then the path of selected IPS
Tanu Sri started his career as Assistant Commandant in CRPF in 2014. He also passed the Income Tax Department examination, but did not appear in it. His real dream was to become an IPS officer, which he fulfilled with hard work and dedication.
Elder sister became inspiration
He got the inspiration to become IPS from his elder sister Manu Sri, who is a commandant in CRPF. Manu Shri encouraged Tanu Shri and guided him at every step.
