Iran-Israel Tensions: Two countries of the Middle East are currently standing on the brink of war. American newspaper Wall Street Journal claimed on Friday (April 12) that Iran is going to attack Israel in the next two days. The report claimed that preparations are underway for drone and missile attacks on Israel. In such a situation, six countries including India, America and France have issued travel advisories for their citizens and have asked them to avoid traveling to both the countries.
In fact, on April 1, Israel attacked the Syrian capital Damascus, in which a top Iranian general and six other military officers were killed. Iran directly blamed Israel for this attack, but Tel Aviv neither took responsibility for the attack nor said anything on it. Israeli ships attacked the Iranian Consulate General in Damascus. It is believed that Iran is now preparing an attack to avenge this attack.
Which Muslim countries will stand with Iran?
Due to increasing tension with Israel, a question is arising that if war breaks out in the Middle East, which Muslim countries will stand with Iran. Even though Iran has tensions with Saudi Arabia, the largest Muslim country in the Middle East, many Arab countries stand shoulder to shoulder with it. If there is a war with Israel, then Arab Muslim countries like Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Qatar, Jordan will be seen standing in favor of Iran.
These countries can support Iran in war
Apart from Muslim countries, there are many countries which can stand in this war with Iran. The biggest name among these countries is Russia, which is an ally of Iran. Russia stands with every country which has enmity with America. The enmity between Iran and America is not hidden from anyone and this is the reason why Russia will support Tehran. It can also make North Korea, China and Central Asian countries like Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan stand in favor of Iran.
With whom can India stand in war?
The biggest question that arises here is that if war breaks out, what will be India’s stand? India has been among those countries which always adopt the policy of neutrality in war situations. Something similar can be seen in this war also. India has good relations with both Israel and Iran, which it would not want to spoil in case of war. If there is a war, India can follow the path of neutrality and appeal to both the countries for peace.
