Israel Hamas War: The ongoing war between Israel and Hamas will complete three months today (Sunday, January 07). Six Israeli families met
Following Arouri’s assassination, Hamas reportedly halted negotiations through Qatar and Egypt. However, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised relatives of the hostages on Tuesday that negotiations were ongoing for their return. The families of six Israeli hostages held by Hamas traveled on Friday to Doha, where Hamas leaders also live, for a meeting with authorities, according to reports. This is the first time that the families of the hostages have visited Qatar.

According to reports, the families of the hostages met Mohammed bin Abdulaziz al-Khulaifi, Minister of State at Qatar’s Foreign Ministry, on Saturday. After this he met the Qatari Prime Minister.
