Israel Hezbollah Conflict: The war continues between Israel and Hezbollah fighters. The Israeli Defense Force has killed another Hezbollah commander in an air strike in Beirut on Friday (October 11). Meanwhile, an incident has come to light which is quite shocking.
A family living in southern Lebanon fled to Beirut to save their lives from Israeli attacks. However, even by going to Beirut he could not dodge death. According to the report of Al Jazeera, this entire family died in the Israeli air strike in Beirut. This incident has fulfilled the poetry of Mirza Ghalib “No hope comes, one day of death is sure to come.” The family was thinking of themselves safe while sitting in a far away place, hoping for their lives, but what happened was what they feared.
Israel not ready to stop
Amid the attacks, fear and insecurity among civilians is increasing and the number of injured in hospitals is continuously increasing. The international community is keeping an eye on this situation and all parties are being appealed to exercise restraint. In a separate attack on Thursday, the IDF also fired on UN peacekeepers in southern Lebanon, wounding two of them, drawing condemnation from Russia to Italy. At the same time, India has also expressed deep concern.
Defense Minister claims reaction will be fatal
The United Nations peacekeeping mission in Lebanon, UNIFIL, reported that its headquarters and several bases have been attacked several times by Israeli forces. According to the statement, an Israeli tank directly targeted an observation tower at UNIFIL’s headquarters in Naqoura, a city in southern Lebanon.
Apart from this, shelter bunkers of peacekeepers near the area were attacked, due to which vehicles and communication systems were damaged. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant announced that Israel’s response to the Iranian missile attack would be both ‘deadly’ and ‘surprising’.
