Mp news: On Thursday, a big order has come on Indore’s bus rapid transit system corridor (BRTS). For a long time, there was a uproar on the BRTS corridor. Today, the Jabalpur High Court has given a big verdict. With the order of the High Court, the way to remove the BRTS corridor was cleared.
It was also recommended by the state government to remove the BRTS corridor in Indore. Recently, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reached Indore. He had announced from the public platform that now Indore does not need a BRTS corridor.
The Expert Committee had examined the usefulness of the BRTS corridor. The investigation report was presented before the High Court. The court also admitted that Indore is a fast growing city. Therefore, according to the population, BRTS corridor is no longer required. The court admitted that people in the city are facing problems due to the BRTS corridor. The court issued an order to remove Indore Municipal Corporation as soon as possible.
Now BRTS Corridor will be removed from Indore
The reaction of Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava has also come out to the High Court’s decision. Welcoming the verdict, he said, “The order of the court is in the interest of the city. The implementation of the court order will start from tomorrow. The action to remove the BRTS corridor will be started. He said that the construction of flyover at the intersections also said to start.
