Justice yashwant varma: The issue of a pile of notes from Delhi High Court Justice Yashwant Verma’s government bungalow raised the issue in Parliament on Friday. Congress MP Jairam Ramesh demanded a discussion on this. Even today, there is a possibility of uproar on this matter. Meanwhile, Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar has already prepared to deal with this situation. The proceedings of Parliament continue without obstruction, so the Chairman has already indicated to discuss in the case of Justice Yashwant Verma. For this, he has called a meeting with the Leader of the ruling party and the opposition in the House.

Jagdeep Dhankhar has called an important meeting today (Monday) at 11:30 am. It will include the Leader of the House JP Nadda and the Leader of Opposition Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. In the meeting, there will be talks to discuss the allegations against Delhi High Court Justice Yashwant Verma in the Rajya Sabha. The meeting may also talk on the National Judicial Appointment Commission (NJAC). A statement by Jagdeep Dhankhar has given such a sign.

Discussion on NJAC is also possible
Actually, the bill of NJAC was passed by Parliament. Half of the assemblies of the country also approved this bill. The President had also signed it but later it was rejected by the Supreme Court. According to Jagdeep Dhankhar, if this law had been made, then the appointment of judges would be done according to this law, so there would not be a scandal like a pile of notes found in Justice Yashwant Verma.

What is Justice Yashwant Verma case?
Justice Verma’s government bungalow in Delhi caught fire on 14 March. He was not in the city then. His personal secretary reported this fire to PCR. After this, firefighters had controlled the fire. However, during this time, the police personnel were shown a pile of notes in a room of the bungalow, which was informed to the big officers of the police. After this, the Delhi Police Commissioner gave this information to the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court and then the matter reached the Chief Justice of the country.

The Supreme Court is investigating this case at its level. The collegium has decided to transfer Justice Verma to Allahabad High Court. Their call details are being investigated. They have been instructed not to break the phone or not delete the chat.
