He took a master’s degree in English from Maharishi Dayanand University in the year 2005. After this he completed his graduation in FTII Acting in the year 2008. During this time, along with Jaideep, Raj Kumar Rao, Sunny Hinduja, Vijay Verma were also learning acting. But did you notice that from 2005 to 2008, Jaideep changed his beat.
In an interview given to First Post, the actor said- ‘Till the time I was doing graduation, I had not even thought of becoming an actor.’ He said- ‘I always wanted to become an army officer. I think God had something else in mind for me. Due to which I could not clear my SSB entrance exam. Due to this, I remained in depression for a long time because I was not able to fulfill my childhood dream. ,
Acting to get out of depression
The actor said – ‘To get out of my depression, I started acting in plays. This sequence continued for at least three years. After this I joined the Indian Film and Television Institute which was in Pune. It was here, after hard work, that I made myself capable of doing professional acting.
Let us tell you that in the year 2008, Jaideep made his acting debut with a short film Narmeen. After this he worked in Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Aakrosh’ and Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Khatta Meetha’. Not only this, the actor has also worked in Ranveer Kapoor’s film ‘Rockstar’. In the year 2020, the actor got a chance to work in the OTT webseries ‘Paatal Lok’. In this superhit web series, the actor played the role of Delhi Police officer Hathi Ram Chaudhary. People liked this character of Jaideep very much. After this web series, the actor was given the tag of OTT superstar.
