Police have arrested 4 accused for demanding Rs 50 lakh as extortion money from the owner of a construction company in the district. It is being told that after the incident, the owner of the construction company had given a written complaint to the bypass police station. After receiving the complaint, the police formed a team and started investigating the case.
In this the police has achieved a big success. Within 24 hours of the incident, the police have arrested four criminals of Sagar gang. Police have also seized seven mobile phones and two motorcycles from the arrested criminals. Patna City SP East said that as soon as the matter came to light, a team was formed under the leadership of Police Sub-Divisional Officer. In which the technical team was also included. The youth who opened fire were identified and four criminals were arrested in a raid on Tuesday.
He told that the mastermind of the criminals is lodged inside Beur jail. While sitting in Beur jail, he had demanded extortion money of Rs 50 lakh from the owner of a construction company. There was also a threat of dire consequences if the money was not paid. The police has taken prompt action in this matter. He said that the police are also continuously conducting raids in search of other members of the Sagar gang.
Police gave information
Police believe that after this incident, on the request of administrative officials, the members of Sagar gang who are lodged inside the jail were arrested. Consideration is also being made to send him to a jail outside. The main reason for this is to control crime. He has urged the common people to immediately inform the police whenever any crime related case comes to light.
