Police have recovered the dead bodies of mother and son from a locked room in Adsar village of Sadar police station area of Jamui, Bihar. The information about this incident spread like wildfire in the village. A crowd of villagers gathered to see the deceased mother and son. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area.
According to the information, the deceased have been identified as Mohd., resident of Adsar village. Shafi’s wife has been identified as Zarina Khatoon (60) and son Arzoo Malik (8). It is being told that Mohd. Shafi had died a few years ago. His wife had no son. Because of this Mohd. Safi had adopted a child before she died. Mo. After Safi’s death, only mother and son lived in the house.
According to sources, a few months ago Zarina Khatoon had got some of her land registered in the name of her son. Some of his own people were keeping an eye on the remaining land. Some people said in hushed tones that the mother and son were murdered by poisoning them with the intention of grabbing the land. While some people said that the mother and son had committed suicide by consuming poison. However, the police have taken possession of the dead bodies and have started investigating the entire matter.
At the same time, there is anger among the local people after the bodies of two people were found together. Local people suspect that this is a murder somewhere. Therefore, the entire matter should be investigated impartially. Town police station incharge Arun Kumar said that the bodies of mother and son have been recovered under suspicious circumstances. Whether it was murder or suicide by taking possession of the dead body is being investigated.
