The dead body of a textile businessman’s wife has been found in a suspicious condition in the old market of Sadar police station area of Jamui, Bihar. It is being told that the woman committed suicide by hanging herself due to a domestic dispute. However, after receiving the news of suicide, various types of discussions started taking place among the local people.
Meanwhile, after receiving information about the incident, SDPO Satish Suman, Sadar Police Station Head Arun Kumar and other police officers reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Also, the police started investigating the entire matter. The deceased has been identified as Shilpi Kumari (28), wife of Rakesh Gupta, resident of Purani Bazar.
According to information received from sources, Rakesh Gupta’s wife used to receive calls on her mobile phone from an unknown youth from Patna, with whom she used to talk often. There was a dispute between the husband and wife regarding this, due to which she was angry. Meanwhile, on Monday afternoon, Shilpi’s body was found hanging from a saree in her room, which is being considered as suicide. On receiving information about the incident, Shilpi’s husband Rakesh Gupta reached the spot and broke the door of the room and entered inside, by then she had died.
It is being told that the deceased woman also has two sons. At the same time, after this sudden incident, the family members are in bad condition and crying. Here, information about the incident has also been given to the parents of the deceased.
After this incident which happened on the day of Holi festival, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. However, after getting the information, nearby people were also seen consoling the family members of the deceased. Regarding the whole matter, SDP Satish Suman said that information has been received that a woman, angry over a domestic dispute, committed suicide by hanging herself. However, the body has been taken into custody and sent to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Also, the case is being investigated from both murder and suicide point of view.
