On the occasion of 75th Republic Day in Jamui, Bihar, a headmaster found it costly to dance to obscene songs with students. The matter reached the DEO. After that the DEO has issued a show cause notice against the said headmaster. This case is related to Rajeev Kumar, the headmaster of the upgraded middle school Khotwa of Sono block area.
According to the information, on January 26, on the occasion of 75th Republic Day, Rajiv Kumar, the headmaster of the upgraded middle school Khotwa of Neyadih Panchayat under Sono block, had hoisted the flag in the school premises. After that, the headmaster along with dozens of students of the school danced to obscene songs. During that time, some local villagers present there had captured this incident in their mobile camera, which went viral on social media.
According to the viral video, the school principal danced with the students on the song ‘Gadi Gadi Jaaye Re…’. When the viral video reached District Education Officer Kapil Dev Tiwari, taking cognizance of the matter, he issued a show cause notice to Principal Rajeev Kumar. Whereas the intellectual class has also expressed strong objection regarding the viral video. They say that the position of Guru is the highest. But the headmaster has crossed all limits, action should be taken against him.
Here, District Education Officer Kapil Dev Tiwari said that the relationship between teacher and student is very important. But the way the headmaster is dancing with the students is a very serious matter. At present, a show cause notice has been issued to the headmaster. The entire matter will be investigated and departmental action will be taken.
