An elderly woman was crushed to death by a Prince bus coming from Sikandra on Saturday afternoon in front of the State Bank located at Aliganj Bazaar on Nawada Sikandra main road of Chandradeep police station area in Jamui, due to which she died on the spot. The deceased woman has been identified as Shanti Devi, 60, wife of Dukhi Chaudhary, resident of Purani Bazaar of Sikandra police station area. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police of Chandradeep police station reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Giving information about the incident, the deceased’s son Sanjay Choudhary said that my mother used to sell Jhalmuri in Sikandra Purani Bazaar and used to come to Aliganj market regularly from Sikandra to buy goods. At the same time, on Saturday also she came to Aliganj market to buy goods. Then Prince was crushed by the bus number BR 27 P 5653, due to which he died on the spot.
At the same time, the entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the nearby shop on the roadside. Here, after the incident, the police of the local police station reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it to Jamui for postmortem.
