Janmashtami 2024 Celebration in Madhya Pradesh: Every year, holiday is declared for educational institutions on the occasion of Janmashtami in Madhya Pradesh, but this time schools will remain open on the festival of Janmashtami. An order has also been issued by the State Education Center in this regard. It has also been mentioned in the order that this time Shri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated in schools and colleges as well.
This order has been issued by the Additional Mission Director of the State Education Center Bhopal, in which all the Principals, District Project Coordinators of Madhya Pradesh have been directed to organize special events in schools on the occasion of Janmashtami festival.

It is also written in the letter that in the review meeting held on 7 August 2024 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, it was decided that Janmashtami festival will be organized in the entire state on 26 August. In this regard, different types of events will also be organized in schools.
Many cultural programs including yoga
Lectures and other cultural programs will be organized on Indian special tradition, yoga etc. in government, non-government schools and colleges. Under this order, children will have to come to school on Janmashtami as well.
Children should know the life philosophy of Shri Krishna
While issuing instructions for schools and colleges to remain open on August 26, the State Education Center has also given the topics of the event. It has been said that lectures and cultural programs will be organized on various topics based on the context of Lord Krishna’s education and friendship and life philosophy.

It has also been said in the order that the information about the programs organized in the districts of Madhya Pradesh should be uploaded on the Google Sheet mailed to the State Education Center district by August 29. Along with this, it has also been said to keep in mind that the photography should be of high quality.
