What did Javed say?
Without naming Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film ‘Animal’, Javed said that the success of the film was dangerous and said, “If a film in which a man says to a woman ‘You lick my shoes’, if a man says ‘This woman. What’s the harm in slapping a film?” It is very dangerous if that film becomes a superhit.”
Actually, Javed Akhtar talked about the thinking of the lead character of the film regarding women in ‘Animal’. The scene he remembered was filmed between Trupti Dhimri and Ranbir Kapoor.
Expressing his views, he said that I think there is a problem among today’s writers. How has that man been made a hero? This confusion is there because there is confusion in the society. When you know the difference between right and wrong, then you get great characters in stories.
Young film makers were also taken to task
