Javed Akhtar was recently in USA. Zaidi channel has posted this video of his talks on social media. In which he said- I have a very small family. I have a son, a daughter, Shabana and I. Shabana and I live together. My daughter lives in a different house, my son lives in a different house.

When we were young, we used to say that in America or England, even relatives would call each other before going to someone’s house and would be shocked when other people would hear this. Now we are living the same life and it feels absolutely fine. When I came here, some people asked me – You didn’t bring Farhan with you? Is he unemployed or what? I have to call him before I meet him or he calls me asking when we can meet. Usually we fix the appointment after 3-5 days. It is natural for this to happen. Such is life.
