A leader of Janata Dal United has been accused of manufacturing illegal weapons. As soon as the matter came to light, the process of action against him has been started at the party level. The matter is of Ruprahimpur, a border village of Vikrampur under Madhaura police station area of Saran district. People say that illegal weapons were manufactured under the guise of a paver block plant and all this work was done by Akhilesh Kushwaha alias Pappu Kushwaha, district general secretary of the ruling party JDU. He was known as an active worker in the party. However, after the incident came to light, there has been a stir at the party level as well. Now the party has started the process of removing Akhilesh alias Pappu Kushwaha, resident of Madhaura Ruprahimpur, from the party post. JDU’s district media in-charge Firoz Alam has confirmed that Akhilesh alias Pappu Kushwaha is the district general secretary. However, he said that the party had no information about the illegal activities of Akhilesh alias Pappu Kushwaha. Now since the matter has come to light, the process of action has been started at the party level.
