Uttar Pradesh Council of Technical Education (UPBTE) has released the official notification for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEECUP) 2025 to be conducted for admission to polytechnic institutes of the state. The online application process for the candidates has started from January 15, 2025, and interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the council, jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The last date for application has been fixed as 30 April 2025. Along with this, the probable date of the examination has also been announced.
Fill the form like this
For the application process, students must first visit the official website of JEECUP jeecup.admissions.nic.in and click on the link ‘JEECUP 2025 Application Form’. After this, new users have to register and get the login credentials. Then login and fill the application form, upload the required documents and pay the application fee. After completing this process, candidates will receive their application confirmation.
This much will be the application fee
The application fee for UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam (JEECUP 2025) has been fixed for different categories. General and OBC category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 300 per group, while SC and ST category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 200 per group. Each candidate can apply in maximum three groups. Apart from this, help centers have also been set up in all the polytechnic institutes of the state to assist in online application, where candidates can get assistance in case of any difficulty in the application process.
This will be the exam pattern
A total of 100 multiple choice questions will be asked in the UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam (JEECUP 2025). 4 marks will be given for each correct answer. There is no system of negative marking in the exam, that is, there will be no deduction of marks for giving wrong answers. This examination is conducted to test the ability and understanding of the candidates.
Candidates need to fill all the details correctly while applying. Along with this, keep important documents like educational certificate, caste certificate, and valid ID proof ready. Application fee can be paid through online mode. Once the application form is submitted, it is important to keep its copy safe. Like last year, this year also candidates who score zero marks in the entrance examination will not be given admission. Each candidate will be allowed to apply in maximum three groups.
