Rekha Helped Jeetendra: At one time, the fans liked the pairing of Jeetendra and Rekha very much. Both the stars worked together in many films and became good friends of each other. 10th October was Rekha’s birthday and on this occasion Jeetendra refreshed old memories. In a recent interview given to Filmfare, he told how he once got stuck in a case related to income tax. Then Rekha helped him in solving it. Jeetendra said that when his chartered accountant took care of the income tax related matter, he said that the officers are big fans of Rekha and would be happy to meet her.

Jeetendra then followed the advice of the chartered accountant and talked to Rekha and told her the whole situation. Now Rekha was a friend, how could she not help, she immediately agreed to do it. Jeetendra says- She went out of her way to behave nicely with the officers and even served them breakfast with her own hands. The fan boy was disappointed and all my tax related problems were solved.
