Jharkhand maharashtra assembly election questions are being raised again about EVM

Jharkhand and Maharashtra assembly elections have been announced. While voting will be held in Maharashtra on 20th November, the result will come on 23rd November. Whereas, in Jharkhand, voting will be held on 13th November and the result will be announced on 20th November. However, even before the assembly elections in these states, opposition parties have started raising questions on EVMs. Now answering these questions, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said that the public answers the questions by participating in voting.

As far as EVMs are concerned, they are 100 percent foolproof. Let us tell you that Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said these things in Jharkhand and maharashtra assembly electionsSaid just before the announcement of the date. Well, let us now know whether EVMs can really be hacked. Along with this, we will also know who makes the EVMs used in elections in India?

Can EVMs be hacked?

The possibility of hacking EVMs often becomes a topic of discussion before elections. However, considering the design and security measures of EVM, the possibility of its hacking is negligible. Actually, the chips and circuits used in EVMs are designed in such a way that they cannot be hacked like normal devices. Apart from this, the data collected in EVM is encrypted, so that it cannot be accessed.

Which company makes EVMs

The work of manufacturing EVMs in India is done by Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL). Let us tell you, both these institutions come under the Government of India and play an important role in the field of electronics. This is the reason why it is almost impossible to tamper with EVM or hack it.

Last year itself, the Election Commission had said that those who think that EVMs can be hacked, should prove their point by hacking it in front of us. However, after this statement of the Election Commission, no one went to the Election Commission to hack the EVMs.
