Reduced installation charge
Actually, till now users have to pay an installation charge of Rs 1000 to get Jio AirFiber connection, but the company has halved this charge fee. This means that now you will have to spend only Rs 500 to get Jio AirFiber installed in your home. Due to this, the total cost incurred at the time of installation will also be reduced.
Apart from this, the company has made another big change. Till now, while taking a new connection of Jio Airfiber, users had to buy a plan of at least 6 months or 12 months together. This means that depending on the monthly plan that the user chooses, the total money and installation charge for 6 or 12 months had to be paid together.
Now there is no need to take a 6 month plan
Now this will not happen, because the company has now come up with a new option, which is only for 3 months. This means that now people who get a new Jio Air Fiber connection will be able to buy a plan of at least 3 months. They will not need to buy a minimum plan of 6 months. Jio has updated the details of these changes in the Air Fiber service on the company’s official website.
Now users will not have to spend as much money as before to get a new Jio AirFiber connection. You can understand this through an example. The cheapest plan of Jio AirFiber is available for Rs 599 plus 18% GST. Earlier, users had to pay at least 6 months plan i.e. ₹599*6=₹3,594 along with ₹1000 installation charge i.e. total ₹4,594 plus GST to get AirFiber connection with this plan.

This means that earlier one had to spend around ₹5,000 to get a connection with the cheapest plan of Jio AirFiber. Now ₹599*3=₹1,797 plus ₹500 installation charge i.e. a total of ₹2,297 plus GST will have to be spent. Now you can understand that earlier one had to spend around ₹5,000 immediately to get a new connection, but now the work will be done in just ₹2,500. They can benefit a lot from this strategy of Jio.
