Netflix’s cheapest plan
Talking about Netflix, the cheapest i.e. basic plan of this OTT platform starts at Rs 149 per month. This is also a mobile plan, in which users can watch content only on one mobile screen at a time. The validity of this plan is one month.
The cheapest plan of Amazon Prime
Now talking about Amazon Prime Video, the cheapest plan of this OTT platform is available for Rs 299. By availing this plan, users get one month of Amazon Prime membership. Through this, users can watch content on a mobile or laptop and can also take advantage of Amazon Music and Shopping app.
The cheapest plan of Jio Premium
Now let us talk about Jio Premium plans, which the company has launched today. Jio’s first plan starts at just Rs 59 per month, but the company is giving a discount of 51 percent on this plan too and hence its price is only Rs 29 per month. This means that users will have to spend less than Rs 1 per day to use this premium OTT platform of Jio. Under this plan, users can watch all the content in video quality up to 4K on any one device (mobile, laptop, TV, tablet).
Apart from this, Jio has also launched a family plan of Rs 149, which can be purchased with a discount for Rs 89. In this plan, all the benefits of Rs 29 are available on 4 devices. Therefore, if Jio starts uploading good content on its premium platforms, then it can create trouble for OTT platforms like Netflix, Prime and Hotstar.
